ABOUT ADAMSON'S KARATE
A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE
Our first school was founded back in 1977, making us one of the oldest family owned and operated martial arts schools in the Midwest. Today, we have multiple locations across central Indiana as we continue to teach traditional karate and martial arts to new generations.
TRAINING FOR SUCCESS
At Adamson's Karate, we focus on building discipline, respect, and confidence while teaching the fundamentals of traditional karate. Our programs are designed to improve physical fitness, mental focus, and self-defense skills, empowering our students to lead with strength and integrity.
HIGH LEVEL COMPETITION
For athletes interested in competition, we prepare them to compete at the highest levels. Starting out at our locally run tournaments, we help our students develop the skills needed to compete and win at a national and international level.
CREATING COMMUNITY
Adamson's Karate offers a lot of great opportunities for students to forge lasting friendships and pursue further martial arts education. From our annual karate summer camp, the oldest overnight karate camp in the country, to special classes and seminars, we have a lot to offer!

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Our preschool program is a great way to help young students develop important early social skills and create good habits around physical fitness. Through martial arts training and karate games, we work on listening skills, confidence, self-control, coordination, mobility, and more. This class is a great way to kick off your child's development in a fun and supportive environment.
CHILDREN AND FAMILY PROGRAM
In this program, children and families can train together on developing focus, mutual respect, self-discipline, confidence, healthy conflict resolution, strength, flexibility, and good habits for life-long health. We work on all of the fundamentals of martial arts training like self defense, sport karate, and traditional kata (karate routines) that will help you achieve your black belt over time.
TEENS AND ADULTS
Our teen and adult martial arts program is designed to work with you wherever you're at in life. This class trains traditional karate and self defense situations that adults might encounter. We work with adults of all ages on flexibility, strength, and mobility through a wide variety of training. Traditional karate training can also help teens and adults with focus, stress relief, and creating healthier habits.
